Perform the following steps to install the firmware revision onto the Model 2401 instrument:
- Run the Flash Wizard program.
- Select the appropriate interface at the Communications Select screen and follow any subsequent instructions.
- Ultimately, the program should auto-detect the 2401.
- You will then be asked to specify the firmware file.
- The upgrade proceeds from there. It typically only takes a few minutes.
Contact Keithley if you encounter any problems during the upgrade process.

Download the following from the Keithley Support Website
- The Keithley Flash Wizard32, version C12 or higher (if you do not already have this)
- I-zip ang files in a folder of your choice and then run the “setup.exe” program.

A Model 2401 instrument with Version A01 firmware is incompatible with Version ‘B’ firmware, such as B03. You should not upgrade A01 to any ‘B’ versions. Contact Keithley Instruments if you require upgrades.

RS-232 serial communication experiences issues when the baud rate is greater than 9600. Additionally, a baud rate of 300 is not supported on new hardware.
Resolusyon:
The communication issues when the baud rate is greater than 9600 have been corrected. Removed option of 300 baud rate from unit.
