3.2 POE Installation

The Power over Ethernet (PoE) feature simplifies installation by allowing IP cameras to connect to the NVR using a single Ethernet cable for both data and power. This eliminates the need for separate power adapters for each camera, reducing wiring complexity and installation costs.

Tandaan: Ensure your cameras are PoE compatible. If using non-PoE cameras, a separate PoE switch or power injector will be required.

3.3 Paunang Koneksyon

  1. Connect the NVR to a monitor using either the VGA or HDMI port.
  2. Connect the included USB mouse to one of the NVR's USB ports.
  3. Connect your IP cameras to the POE-Link ports on the NVR using Ethernet cables.

4.2 Malayo Viewing

Your Gadinan NVR supports remote viewing from various devices:

4.2.1 Via PC (CMS/VMS Software)

Install the CMS (for Windows) or VMS (for Mac) software. This software is typically provided on a CD with the NVR or can be downloaded online (contact support for download links).

To add your device in CMS:

  1. Open the CMS software.
  2. Navigate to 'Device Manager'.
  3. Click 'Add Device' and search for your NVR on the local network.
  4. Enter the NVR's login credentials (default: admin/blank).

To find your NVR's Serial ID (important for P2P connection):

You can access the NVR interface directly through a web browser on your local network. The default IP address for the camera is 192.168.1.10. For cloud access, visit www.xmeye.net.

To add your device in the XMEye app:

  1. Open the XMEye app.
  2. Select 'Add Device'.
  3. You can manually add the device using its Serial ID or scan the QR code displayed on the NVR's monitor or web interface.
  4. Enter the device name, username (admin), and password.

4.3.1 Advanced Motion Detection Recording

The NVR can be configured to record only when motion is detected, saving storage space and making it easier to review important events. You can set a motion detection "mask" to exclude areas with constant movement, preventing false alarms.

4.3.2 Smart Playback

4.4 Face Recognition (8CH NVR only)

The 8CH NVR model supports Smart AI Face Recognition, which can capture detailed facial information when someone enters the surveillance area. This feature requires compatible face detection cameras.

4.5 NVR Interface Navigation

The NVR's main menu provides access to various settings and functions:

4.6 Channel Type Configuration

The NVR supports different channel types depending on the model (4CH or 8CH) and the resolution of connected cameras. You can configure the channel type in the system settings.

5.2 HDD Management

Regularly check the HDD status in the 'Advanced' -> 'HDD Info' menu. You can format the storage, recover data, partition the drive, or set it to read-only mode.

5.3 System Updates and Backup

The 'Advanced' menu also provides options for system upgrades, restoring settings, and importing/exporting configurations. Regularly backing up your system configurations is recommended.

6. Pag-aayos ng solusyon

6.1 No Video Display on Monitor
